Just came across these old images: A 2006 Leica meeting in Rotterdam. Not sure whether it was organized on this forum. I recognize a few faces including @jaapv and @norbertnl. We certainly were all much younger then... And yes, that's the old Cunard QE2, what a beauty compared to the current Cunard fleet.

Hi Joachim, nice to see these memories. Thank you for sharing them! I was in the Netherlands at the time; now I‘ve been in Berlin for three years. Older indeed, wiser not necessarily ....

After I quit Leica a while ago I got myself a beautiful M2 and 50DR last month, which I take everywhere as if they were a smartphone. I hope you’re doing well.

Hi Norbert, Good to hear from you. I left NL 10 years ago. Now living down under in Melbourne. Berlin is a great choice. Like you, I also rediscovered Leica recently when I found out that I can use my M lenses with the CL. Very happy with this combination. Best wishes, J.
