pridbor Posted April 14, 2019 Share #21 Posted April 14, 2019 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi Susie, Well, I clearly see now that I don't have any of those 2 lenses :-( which I have never seen before, what vintage? Do you have/use the "front Bellows" for your setup? I.e. the device which is inserted into the 2 holes under the Lens? Like in this Image. Welcome, dear visitor! I was contemplating using my Sony like the one in the Photo in the first Post in this Subject. I clearly need to get into this a bit more seriously, but I will be in Europe for the next 6 weeks, so it will be a while before I can get to it again. I'm also curious as to what you all are using these Bellows for, such that I can figure out what else to use them for. Saw the below use in an article somewhere. Many thanks for your insight. Advertisement Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Hi pridbor, Take a look here The versatility of the M bellows.. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Susie Posted April 14, 2019 Share #22 Posted April 14, 2019 The bellows attachment at the front is merely a lens hood to avoid light reflections hitting the front of the lens. I haven't got the bellows hood and just use the normal Iufoo/12575 hood. The Elmarits were made between 1959 and 1974. As to what to take - anything small such as: Talisman boardgame figures: Welcome, dear visitor! Or Zulu War medals: Or Dragonflies emerging from their nymph stage: All taken using the 90mm f/2.8 Elmarit from 1965 on the bellows II and Viso III fitted to my M9.
