So they have come as close to classic film M design as this.  My wallet is going to be soooo sore.

Wait, am I seeing this correctly?  Does the screen/back of the body protrude outwards from the line of the top plate?

Anyone tried the EVF on the M10? How is it?

Not really digging the Rangefinder but love the portability...

The EVF is discussed in some of the other threads and reviews. It is an existing model. If you do not like the range-viewfinder you will not like a Leica M camera.

Tried the demo model today at Red Dot. The build quality is really second to none. Overall I'd describe it as 'tighter', everything just feels totally together, very compact and sorted. Much heavier than it looks, but that only adds to the feeling of quality.

Menu structure is really simple, took a couple of minutes to work out the basis.

It feels an immensely mature product. Leica have really worked wonders with this M.

EVF is definitely quicker than the 240, but with continuous shots you are still effectively shooting blind.

Just working out which kidney to sell now.....

I agree, the camera is really well made...and as you say everything is tight and fits precisely. It is one of the best quality M's I have ever owned, and by far the best built digital M.

When you hold it you can tell it was assembled by hand and with pride. I'm very impressed.

congratulations! How it feels in hands after M262?

Thank you  :)  It is a little bit heavier compared to M 262 but I can feel the thinner body while holding it.

I like the new less button design, easy to locate buttons in dark also.

The responsiveness is great , I didn't like the M 262's slow operation speed.

I am happy that M 10 is much better than M 262 in everything except the battery life.

The thing I like the most is the ISO capability. Before the M 10, I couldn't be sure to get the Q or M 262 with me while leaving home in the evenings.  Q is great at night, but I like the rangefinder experience , but now M 10 combines both and it gives the confidence in low light  :)

Great! I also bought Q mainly for low light conditions and missed the same ISO output on M240

its a lovely camera, but the weight is practically the same as the M240

I think the benefit is the thinness, better ISO performance of the sensor (not sure if its better then the Q), slightly quieter shutter and wifi

If you want lower weight the 262 is the only real choice, although that drops LV which is a big thing for me as I use it to ensure lenses are calibrated properly and also for long R zooms

I must say that the M10 does feel like its been crafted out of dwarf star material !!
