I love Aperture for its asset management. I tend to process in Photoshop. Using Aperture as a RAW converter. I use a Guy Gowan action for it, serves me well. My MBP is now fitted with 1tb Ssd and 16g ram. Processing I found to be much faster than anticipated. I feared the huge files would bog it down. I put a 4TB SSD in my 2011 (mid-year) iMac and it increased the speed 10X. Stunning really. Only 8GB RAM. Unfortunately it now will not upgrade to the latest OS Mojave.
