Advertisement Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 Hi frame-it, Take a look here which leica ?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
willeica Posted March 19, 2019 Share #2 Posted March 19, 2019 Early II Model D with 'toilet seat' top plate. The lens looks odd as the infinity catch should be at 7 O'clock, perhaps it is not fully screwed in. The minimum focus stop should be at 1 O'Clock and not 11 O'Clock with this type of infinity stop. luigi bertolotti Posted March 19, 2019 Share #3 Posted March 19, 2019 Apparently, no dial knob for slow times, so a Leica II, with an Elmar 5 cm I'd say.

It appears to be a genuine II Model D on the basis of the photo above. I should know this model as I have 6 of them. jerzy Posted April 13, 2019 Share #6 Posted April 13, 2019 No doubt William, genuine II and it looks like genuine Elmar. But did you spot how the lens, infinity lock, is positioned? Either lens not fully screwed on the camera or lens flange on the body not properly mounted

I mentioned the lens position above on March 19. The infinity catch is definitely in the wrong position, so the lens must not be fully screwed in.
