Q1 @75mm?

I know everyone is excited about the new Q2.

 

i have a question about the original.

I am not good with this 'stuff' but has anyone figured out the size a Q image would need to be cropped to -to get an equivalent 75mmFOV?

 

i would think for web use the image would be usable-wouldn’t it?

That would be about 3.3MP (24/2,68^2 - 2,68 is the crop factor for 75mm)

Yes. It would be perfectly fine for use on the Web.

And I guess you could squeeze an A5 print out of it at 240-300dpi. Even bigger?

there was a time when that size file was thought to be adequate for most purposes.....

Just not enough pixels for display on my old iMac 27"

The last time I worked with such resolutions was on my Canon D30.... 🙄
