wilfredo Posted March 9, 2019 Share #1 Posted March 9, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) I was trying to upload some photos last night, that I recently shot, and after reducing the images as usual, using Photoshop CS, I kept getting this message: "You are only allowed to upload 501.76kb" For some strange reason, even after reducing the file size (pixels), and JPEG quality, these files remain 844kb. This is a total mystery to me. Any idea what's going on here? Thanks! Wilfredo+
Advertisement Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 Hi wilfredo, Take a look here KB. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Pyrogallol Posted March 9, 2019 Share #2 Posted March 9, 2019 As well as reducing the image size, re-save as a smaller file (I am using old photoshop 7 and elements 13). i have found that if I tried to upload a picture that was too big and was rejected, the system then would not let me upload another smaller copy, but if I logout of the forum then log back in it will let me upload the smaller file. farnz Posted March 23, 2019 Share #3 Posted March 23, 2019 (edited) @wilfredo @Pyrogallol All you need to do is to manually refresh your browser window after you've uploaded each picture and all will be well. It's a known bug in the forum's software and I understand that Andreas is working on it. Pete. Edited March 23, 2019 by farnz
