harald_ludwig Posted February 23, 2019 Share #1 Posted February 23, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello, since the resent Apple update for my iPhone I can not connect the Leica M 10-P to Leica Fotos any more. Has any one else this problem or a solution? I did all the necessary update at the camera and the Leica Foto app. Thank you for any help. mdemeyer Posted February 24, 2019 Share #5 Posted February 24, 2019 I just tried it with the latest update (from 3 days ago) of the app and it's working fine for me on an iPhone 7.
jonco Posted February 25, 2019 Share #6 Posted February 25, 2019 If your iPhone is up to date and you have the Leica Fotos update 1.1.1you might try a force restart of your phone.
mdemeyer Posted February 25, 2019 Share #7 Posted February 25, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) Or uninstall and reinstall the app, which should delete any cached configuration data.
jaapv Posted February 25, 2019 Share #8 Posted February 25, 2019 If nothing else works: Reset your iPhone to factory defaults. A hassle, as you will have to reconfigure, but it will clear any blocks.
Photon42 Posted February 25, 2019 Share #9 Posted February 25, 2019 Not sure that is worth the hassle. iOS latest version, FOTOS latest version reinstalled, profiles removed under General/Profiles and Device Mgmt. Add/pair camera from scratch.
luoyiigsnrr Posted March 7, 2019 Share #10 Posted March 7, 2019 My M10D keeps trying to connet to my iphone usually. It succeeds to connet even in a few minutes some times. I am trying to get to know why.
lucerne Posted March 7, 2019 Share #11 Posted March 7, 2019 The app update released today (Thursday) (to add the Q2) has caused my iPad and M10 to fail to combine and work.
fjolnir Posted March 8, 2019 Share #12 Posted March 8, 2019 Fotos rarely works for me. The old “Leica M” app works every time though. they really screwed things up with Fotos and the accompanying fw update..
newboy Posted June 20, 2019 Share #13 Posted June 20, 2019 If I understand correctly - the only way I can get my photos from M10-P to Macbook/iMac now is to remove the card and pull them in right? No wifi copy possible to Mac. Only wireless transfer is to iPhone?
AndreasG Posted June 20, 2019 Share #14 Posted June 20, 2019 There is an app available for direct download from the camera to the Mac:
RexGig0 Posted June 26, 2019 Share #15 Posted June 26, 2019 I could not link my M10 to my iPhones today. (IPhone 7 Plus.) It had been a while since I had tried, so I am not certain if this is something new. I have always considered iPhone apps to be generally finicky and unreliable, anyway, so nothing lost, as I see it, for me. I realize that those with M10D cameras have a serious problem.
