Advertisement Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 Hi freemindghost, Take a look here Voigtländer on m10(p). I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
pedaes Posted February 22, 2019 Share #2 Posted February 22, 2019 If they worked on your M8 they will be fine, but you will of course loose the M8's crop factor and the lenses will return to their true field of view. Voigtlander 35mm lens wil be great on a M10, but you will need to manually load a lens code if you want in camera correction to the images. Not familiar with the 22mm, is this a old lens? Is there camera correction for lenses? I thought the correction was software like lightroom?

There is in camera correction. All current Leica lenses have a six bit code that triggers the correct adjustments, but there is also a menu of all (legacy) lenses that you can set manually. For a non Leica lens you can choose the nearest Leica equivalent . This is pretty basic digital M camera stuff. You can of course do further adjustments in LR etc.
madrigalmaster Posted February 22, 2019 Share #5 Posted February 22, 2019 I have used the Voigtlander line of lenses with my M10.I have from 15mm to 75mm including 21mm, 28mm, 35mm and 50mm. The lenses perform beautifully with the Leica. All you have to do is remember to set the lens in the menu to the closest possible within the Leica line of lenses. I have forgotten to do this sometimes with minor distorsion that you can always correct with several software programs, depending what you use,LR, PS and so on. These are great lenses and I will not be disuaded to buy them and use them despite the esoteric discussions of the Leica purist. Right now I use the Leica M10 with Voigtlander lenses in all kind of situations and get very pleasing results. Do it ,enjoy it.
TomB_tx Posted February 22, 2019 Share #6 Posted February 22, 2019 I use the Nokton 35 1.4 some on my M10, but prefer the Summarit 35. M10 in-camera lens corrections are limited to vignetting and color casts (edge effects on wide angles), and not for distortion, etc.
