since when was a Leica Q in any way like an M.    The OP wants to work with a rangefinder and a variety of lenses.  The Q is like a point and shoot.  When the Q reaches its end of life, the body and its 28mm lens become useless. Alternatively, a separate 28mm lens (and any other lens) can be used on any M body, and many non-leica bodies for ever.

i was really happy to see the back of my Q while it still worked. 

 

 

Agreed, it's not what the OP originally asked for as the Q is not a rangefinder. But the Q package IMO is amazing at its price point. The OP stated he's on a budget and so I merely suggested an alternative. The Q is after all much cheaper than the M10 plus 1 lens he was intending on. And it typically will last a long long time depending on how you treat it. Of course, if a rangefinder is a must, then it's out of the question.
