geoback Posted February 14, 2019 Share #1 Posted February 14, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello Forum, i am having Problems getting into my "Menu". I can enter into the "Menu" but it Shows only a few Settings, not all of them, like it use to do. Entering die Button for the ISO Settings is not possible any more. I tried to turn the camera ON and OFF, this didnt help. Is this issue common? Do i have to install an new Firmware? Thanks geoback
Advertisement Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 Hi geoback, Take a look here getting into my "Menu".. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
elgenper Posted February 14, 2019 Share #2 Posted February 14, 2019 Most likely you are in the rather inane "snapshot" profile. Push the "set" button in the lower left corner of the back, and see what happens. If you ARE indeed in "snapshot" mode, you should get the question whether you want to leave it. You do, so select that option and push "set" again. Now, everything is back to normal. The way to get into "snapshot" mode is to open the "set" menu, and the "user profile" option at the bottom. That´s where "snapshot " can be selected; don´t EVER do that! 🧐

Do you know why it is there and what/who it was intended for? Guy

lysardman Posted February 23, 2019 Share #5 Posted February 23, 2019 Thanks for describing the way to get out of snapshot mode. When I got my M9 back after the sensor being replaced a few months ago it was in the snapshot mode and it took me an age and lots of button pressing until I managed to get out of it. I still have no idea what I did but with your post I'll be able to do it again, if I ever put it in snapshot mode by accident.
