M10 EVF in silver?

The Visoflex on my M240 was available in silver as an Olympus version. Is the 020 EVF also available in silver from Olympus or anyone else?

No.

As my M10 is silver I wanted one Visoflex 020 in silver, this type is not available from Leica.

Bought black one, not so ugly 😉.

This M10's EVF is only available from Leica.

Just don't be in a hurry.  They are not taking any more re-paint orders until the 2nd quarter of this year.

I asked them (LIFE+GUARD) if they could paste the EVF in silver. They said there was no template, so I sent the EVF to them for measurement. A week later they sent the silver EVF back to me. So the template should still be there. You might ask them directly.

They now have developed it into a product and started selling it.

I wish the VISO had a metal shell. Firstly because having a plastic lump on an M, to me is not particularly nice. Also, just in my opinion plastic chrome looks worse.

AIthough in black, Leica VISOFLEX (TYP 020) is plastic shell.
