Tomek Posted February 4, 2019 Share #1 Posted February 4, 2019 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) This is probably a well-known problem but I am not able to find an answer to it. Tapatalk is not working for a long time. Any plans to include Tapatalk plug into the Forum as it was before? If no - what mobile version of forum reader/writer do you propose? Frankly speaking, I was very pleased to use Tapatalk daily to read this Forum as it was much more convenient for me in comparison to notebook/desktop computer. Thank you Edited February 4, 2019 by Tomek
Advertisement Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 Hi Tomek, Take a look here Any plans about return of Tapatalk. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
andybarton Posted February 28, 2019 Share #2 Posted February 28, 2019 IIRC. Tapatalk support had to be dropped due to the GDPR Laws that came into force last year.
paulsydaus Posted March 12, 2019 Share #3 Posted March 12, 2019 (edited) I too was frustrated until I learnt the truth about Tapatalk. They were found to be one of the worst data spying apps on the internet. They are evil. Thankfully this forum knew that before it became public and rightfully banned them. No wonder they didn't want to release their data retention policies... Edited March 12, 2019 by paulsydaus
pico Posted March 12, 2019 Share #4 Posted March 12, 2019 Tapatalk continued to e-mail notices of thread responses a year after I dropped it. Finally I made a kill filter.
firoze Posted March 17, 2019 Share #5 Posted March 17, 2019 Unfortunate that Tapatalk were found to be data-spying. It was very convenient way to post photos on this froum from mobile devices. Is there any other convenient way to resize photos on iPad or iPhone to post on this forum? I am currently using Apple Shortcuts to resize photos, but the quality is not that good, and for each photo, I have to experiment with the resolution to get the file size under 500kb.
