A Sharpie covers up the red in the dot. BTW, I don't think anybody notices. It's aesthetics for me.

The Zagato fails in one respect IMHO, the design of the lens barrel is entirely not ergonomic except for fondlers and poseurs.

I correct myself. The lens has a tab. I appreciate that.

Leica has its own view in masking a camera. Bihand the gold , you cannot see it at all!

If only Leica made an anamorphic lens and in body image processing at the jpeg level - that would truly be a cineM.

Depends on the thief - Some will prefer the gin and ignore the Leica ;)

I really like the red dot on my silver M10  and would never cover or exchange it.
The other arguments were still written before ...

Thanks for sharing your opinion!

I really like too the red dot on my silver M10, I would like to cover just to be more “anonymous”...I was saving money for long time to be able to buy the M10 with the 28mmLux and maybe covering the logo I feel more comfortable to keep away any thieves...I know that maybe is only a “stupid” idea, but this is the reason I asked some suggestions about masking!😃

If you really want to 'mask' a Leica, the best way is as follows:

1. Buy some self-adhesive fluorescent orange round stickers.

2. Write 'Leica' on one with a biro.

3. Stick this over the exiting dot on the camera.

Who is going to nick a camera just masquerading as a Leica:D?

So far so good.

I am not very good at cosmetics. But my wife said it is waterproof (and expansive.lol).

You need to wipe it with oil-based makeup remover.

Does it still stay on Camera?

If so, could you please post the brand of the thing you used? (or a Photo)

I‘m searching for something similar for a while and your solution looks pretty good.

thx
