Actually you are right too with saying "make them work like". Of course the focal length of an existing lens stay unchanged. By the way 35 x 1.5 equals 53mm not 47. And note that the lenses you have are not exactly the focal length that is written on the body. It is aprox. that focal length. Move backwards with a cropped sensor and you'll have the same field of view, albeit with a different perspective. nicci78 Posted January 25, 2019 Share #6 Posted January 25, 2019 Multiple focal length and aperture x1.5 to get an idea of the lens will look like on APS-C. Field of view and depth of field wise. It is just that simple. No need to know read the scientific fine prints. Summilux-TL 1.4/35mm mounted on a CL will look like a 2,.1/53mm wide open. Close enough to a Summicron-M 2/50mm mounted on a M10. Actually almost all 50mm are 52mm, just rounded to 50mm, for marketing sake. Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
