magixaxeman Posted January 22, 2019 Share #1 Posted January 22, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) Am I the only one who's still using firmware version 2.4.5.0 ? I just couldn't bear losing the old "M" app with its image zoom etc and hated the idea of not being able to connect via my home network. I don't think there was anything in the later update that I needed anyway.

lucerne Posted January 22, 2019 Share #2 Posted January 22, 2019 I doubt it! if you are benefitting from the previous networking facilities, then the choice is yours. One thing I would point out is that the next firmware might just have a killer feature worth getting. Alternatively, the next upgrade might incorporate multiple network configuration. From what you describe, it will do no harm to wait and see.
albertknappmd Posted January 24, 2019 Share #3 Posted January 24, 2019 A lot of people don't upgrade. It is personal preference. same with some MAC upgrades... Wait until it has been tested by many others first and, once all bugs are eliminated then upgrade. If you like your version, there is no harm in staying with it..
