wlaidlaw Posted January 15, 2019 Share #1 Posted January 15, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) Can folks advise if the 14300 right angle finder, which seems the final one made by Leica up to 2008, fits the R9. Quite a lot of folk seem to feel it only fits cameras up to the R7 and not the two "hunchback of Wetzlar" R8 and R9 models. Wilson Welcome, dear visitor! Advertisement Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Hi wlaidlaw, Take a look here Correct right angle finder for R9 - 14300?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
masjah Posted January 15, 2019 Share #2 Posted January 15, 2019 Wilson, yes it does fit the R8/R9. My particular example has a tiny bit of play in it (though not where it attaches to the camera, as the locking lever deals with that) which I don't find problematical. I'm sure they didn't produce any later model than the 14300.
