peppus81 Posted January 13, 2019 Share #1 Posted January 13, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi all, anyone has experience with the VC 50mm 1.2 on film? I'm wondering if go for it or 50mm summicron v5. As on film the extra stop can be useful but I'm not able to find any reliable example of images taken with this lens especially with film... Extra note I'm a 35mm man and I will not use the 50mm often so I'm looking for something very good at a reasonable price TIA!! Giuseppe
Advertisement Posted January 13, 2019 Posted January 13, 2019 Hi peppus81, Take a look here Voigtlander 50mm 1.2 on film MP. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
vanGeist Posted January 16, 2019 Share #2 Posted January 16, 2019 For speed take a look a the Canon 50/1.4 LTM and that 7Artisans 50/1.1. The Voigtländer is the better lens, but also in a completly different price range. If you don't need that fast aperture, but great image quality for a good price, look at the Summicron-M 50 v4. That small lens is just incredible.
