dkCambridgeshire Posted January 7, 2019 Share #1 Posted January 7, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) A friend many miles away with a D-Lux 3 wants to start experimenting with close-up photography. I'm aware of the camera's macro mode but want to suggest use of a good quality supplementary c/u lens for use at longer focal lengths e.g. the Raynox 150 … but will the Raynox clip onto the D-Lux 3 lens? Advertisement Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 Hi dkCambridgeshire, Take a look here D-Lux 3 close-up photography. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
dkCambridgeshire Posted January 7, 2019 Author Share #2 Posted January 7, 2019 Research suggests that there was an adapter tube available for the LX2 / D-Lux 3 with a 52mm filter thread which would enable use of e.g. Raynox 150 and 250 c/u lenses … but it's no longer listed on Ebay. My friend's other option is to use his M8 and Viso III with suitable lenses and adapters but he'll need to study all the Viso adapter options available for his existing M lenses. Would be a lot easier if he had a Leica M240 with live view. dunk
