According to the freezing issue

It is a nice try to reverse the firmware back to the original one came with the camera. So, I would like to ask that anyone who've got the firmware file (2.4.5.9) and any instruction needed.

If it is not possible to reverse firmware to previous I need to send camera in.

My camera still freeze up even I removed the card out of the camera.

Thank you so much

Hi.

I don’t know how it has happened but you appear to be using the wrong firmware on your M10-P.  This would explain why you are having so many problems.  There isn’t any outstanding issue with the current firmware that requires an urgent manufacturers update.

the correct firmware is 2.6.5.1

im sure your problems will disappear after it is installed.

to get this firmware I advise you to log into the members area of Leica. Then select firmware for M10-P.

http://uk.leica-camera.com/Members-Area

Hope that helps.

ive just looked on my usual Leica Members website and couldn’t find the firmware.

here is an alternative link.

Hi everyone!

Thank you very much. I really appriciate for your help. But the firmware in my M10-P has listed as 2.6.5.1, which is the right one for P model already. The first firmware out of the box is 2.4.5.9 before I updated it to 2.6.5.1.

Yesterday I just sent my camera in for checking. Wishing they can solve this problem or replace it for me soon.

Thank you very much lucerne and frame-it. I’m very appriciate for your help. :)

Sending it back is the best thing to do.  In your original post you didnt say that you had updated. Thats why i assumed you were using an old version.    Perhaps the upgrade didnt install correctly.  Hopefully the problem will be solved soon.
