It’s the only focal length I use for street photography when I travel abroad. It’s wide enough for environmental shots and but not too wide for me to be physically intrusive.

35mm APO M11 silverEFx  f4. 1/125. ISO 64

Unless I am printing this as a billboard, not sure I needed the resolution. However, It does let me crop in on a different shot.

F/2.8 Summaron (the kind with goggles) on M3, Foma 200 @ 64, PMK)  I've been enjoying the goggled Summaron. I find the f/3.5 Summaron a little mushy in the corners for the kind of stuff I do, but this 2.8 really holds up nicely. The transformed viewfinder view isn't bad either.

Its been almost 10 years since I had a 35 mm Summicron in front of my camera , I had forgotten just how amazing the colours and the image quality of a simple 35mm Summicron can be. I just picked up this new 35mm asph V2 shot with SL2

Hi Artin

Noticed you referred to crons being «simple» by definition. Simple as opposed to advanced… or simple as opposed to expensive… or… 😉Personally I never got the chance to forget how good crons are 👍
