My first street shoot with a Leica, 240 + 35 cron asph v1. Shooting with a Leica was a weird sensation, the files isn't as clinically (digitally) sharp as what I've used to, has some kind of film quality to it. At first it was very uncomfortable to zoom in and unable to see the biting details, but after a while I got used to it and appreciate the rendering and looking back to my older pictures (even the close rival RX1R) the details and colors looked digital...Needless to say I'm very pleased to be able to shoot with a Leica. Took the market long enough for the price to become affordable (and the lens was actually going up in price). 😂

PS - A fun fact about this shot, it was a rather overcast day, light was flat, and yet this combo was able to pull off and render such depth. Before shooting with one, I always think "my (insert latest greatest camera here) can definitely do that and do it better with PP" but the truth is, I failed to achieve it every single time.

A 35mm lens is usually not the most appropriate for bird photography. Unless they sit one meter away on your mother's porch.

just picked up a very lovely condition Germany 35mm Summicron 8 elements from 1965.

The lens is a gem the rendering is very classic but with enough contrast and sharpness even wide open.

A quick pick with this lens on the M10
