Come in, she said

Recommended Posts

'Twas in another lifetime, one of toil and blood When blackness was a virtue the road was full of mud I came in from the wilderness, a creature void of form Come in, she said I'll give ya shelter from the storm And if I pass this way again, you can rest assured I'll always do my best for her, on that I give my word… [ 384 more words ]

Wonderful photo to go with a wonderful song.  Dylan's lyrics confound and frustrate some people because they are sometimes vague.  I don't like using the word vague because it implies the lyrics are incomplete so I just looked at the Merriam-Webster thesaurus for alternative words and found these:  Fuzzy, Indefinite, Unclear.  His lyrics and your photo are open to interpretation and cause people to engage and apply their personal thinking and memories to understand meaning.  So the poet laureate's prose go perfectly with your photo.

Thank you for posting.

I am always impressed by your pictures, and frequent literary references. You have great skill with the abstract and ambiguous - powerful elements.
