The wifi option simply isn't in the menu and is not set to F6 (default) - nothing there.

There is a FOTOS selection where you can pair bluetooth but nothing about wifi.

I can connect the camera to Fotos using that, but it takes so long I don't bother.

Same problem, 8 months later. Does not inspire confidence in the brand.

if it is any consolation, I do not have Wi-fi Option in the Menu, or in the default Fn Button 6. 

No doubt, I have been through all options. Time is properly set. It is NOT there.

I managed to connect my D Lux 7 to my android phone (after numerous attempts).

Some things that you should try:

1. Restart your android (especially if you can't pair the phone and camera).

2. If pairing is fine but you have problems establishing the wireless connection between the phone and camera: On your phone, make sure the Internet is turned ON but disconnect from any wifi network. I reckon that the Leica Foto app needs to connect to the D Lux 7's wifi, hence any other wifi connections will obstruct it.

WiFi menu option not available or not even showing anywhere. Function 6 is off 

went to function assignment for F6 but WiFi is not an option . 
 

i am as frustrated as other folks on this forum. 
 

the WiFi should be an available option in the USA version of firmware 

current firmware is V2.0
