M10-P firmware - same as M10 ?

Hi

Do the M10-P and M10 use the same firmware ? 

M10-P claims to be on 2.4.5.9.

Download latest firmware to Mac from here http://us.leica-camera.com/Photography/Leica-M/Leica-M10/Downloads

Copy to SD card

Put card in camera

Navigate to camera information

Firmware shows as 2.4.5.9 but can't select it - it's grey.

 

Didn't think there would be any difference, but I'm guessing there is.

Ok, so it looks like they are in fact different firmware files. There is no link on the M10-P page to download the appropriate firmware, but I found a link on RedDotForums. Correct file seems to work.

The M10 and M10-P use different firmware files.  For the M10 the current firmware is 2.6.5.0 and for the -P it is 2.6.5.1 .  The M10-P firmware is found at

Older firmware will not work with the Leica FOTOS app.
