Guest Posted November 22, 2018 Share #1  Posted November 22, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) My lens is a Graphic Kowa 360mm and I want to be able to mount 3 and 10 stop ND filters on it while shooting 8x10. The issue is that the lens hood doesn't have a filter thread, so I am thinking of getting the filters in 95mm, getting a step-down ring to 85mm and then somehow superglue or braze the two of them together......what do you guys think??The lens hood is ~85mm acrossNeil Welcome, dear visitor! jaapv Posted November 22, 2018 Share #2 Â Posted November 22, 2018 I would just tape a Lee filter holder on and use gel filters.
Ambro51 Posted November 22, 2018 Share #3 Â Posted November 22, 2018 S.K.Grimes could design and build an adapter.
250swb Posted November 23, 2018 Share #4  Posted November 23, 2018 Ditch the lens hood, any large format photographer should know to stand in a position to cast your own shadow over the lens when making an exposure.
gbealnz Posted November 23, 2018 Share #5 Â Posted November 23, 2018 Tape 'em Neil. Or get something that uses a plastic or nylon (non-marring) set-screw to hold it onto the hood, or the outer edge of the lens. Gary

Gary Gary I just found out that the lens hood thread is 58mm so I ordered a step up ring from Lazada for B154 and will be able to use My Noctilux filters Neil
