The Zeiss C Sonnar T* 50/f1.5 ZM is a fantastic little lens. Unfortunately I use the lens much too rarely.

Hollow way, or sunken lane. There are a few like this round here - ancient paths worn by centuries of use to well below the level of the surrounding fields.

Today someone offered to buy my sonnar. As I have a lux50asph, the lens might be redundant…

I put it on the SL and now I have doubts. To sell or not?

Love the look in this image, but might get it also with my lux.

The best answer I can think of:

Pink Floyd - High Hopes

Looking beyond the embers of bridges glowing behind us
To a glimpse of how green it was on the other side
Steps taken forwards but sleepwalking back again
Dragged by the force of some inner tide

At a higher altitude with flag unfurled
We reached the dizzy heights of that dreamed of world

Encumbered forever by desire and ambition
There's a hunger still unsatisfied
Our weary eyes still stray to the horizon
Though down this road we've been so many times
