In the US, prior to 1954 we called it Armistice Day, but changed it to Veterans' Day after that. I think the UK has the better current title, one that specifically honors the dead. But Morgan windscreens don't have much spare space for such things. I should really be heading for the town centre on Sunday (with the Leicas) to the war memorial, but will be elsewhere. I might get to attend a march on the Saturday instead. Meanwhile, a little more research into the 8th Kings Royal Irish Hussars continues.
