Guest Posted October 25, 2018 Share #1 Posted October 25, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Bit of a silly one this, and in no way a big problem, but I'm interested: when locked down, my ISO dial has some vertical play. It almost feels like a button, with a rather distinct click to it. I believe this only started happening recently, but I can't be 100% sure. If anybody has their camera to hand, could they check and see how theirs is please? (I have an M10-P, but assume that doesn't make any difference.) SMAL Posted October 25, 2018 Share #4 Posted October 25, 2018 Mine has this too. Seems normal to me. My M10 is only 2 month old.
evikne Posted October 25, 2018 Share #5 Posted October 25, 2018 (edited) Mine has it too. I have sometimes wondered why, but I don't really care. I am a little more concerned about why the engraved ISO numbers have started to wear quite a bit, so they are almost hard to read sometimes. But all other engravings, including the shutter speed dial, is like new, so that’s a bit strange. I cannot see any reason why the ISO deal should wear any faster than other places. Guest Posted October 25, 2018 Share #6 Posted October 25, 2018 Ok thanks guys, sounds like a normal manufacturing tolerance issue then, nothing to worry about.

When locked down, I can push the dial down slightly and it springs up although the movement seems minuscule, it does do it.
Chaemono Posted October 27, 2018 Share #9 Posted October 27, 2018 (edited) Yes, it’s minuscule, like half a millimeter. Edit - no distinct click, though. It almost feels like it helps to lift the ISO dial more smoothly. It makes it feel less stiff. I like it. Edited October 27, 2018 by Chaemono
