M10-D Sleep and Wake feature query (and where's the manual?)

So my M10-D is waiting at the store for my return from business travel.  It should be a fun weekend.

In the mean time, I have questions on the features.  Does the camera go to sleep when left in the "On" position?  If so, after how long?

If the camera has gone to sleep, does the top-plate button next to the shutter release wake it up?  If so, how quickly?

Last question for tonight - does anyone have a link to the instruction manual?  Leica only lists the M10 and M10-P.

Thank you.

Eric

It's possible they're waiting for the FOTOS  app to be capable of adjusting settings (when I had hands on with the M10-D this wasn't possible). UNTIL you can adjust settings via the app, it seems that the only controls direct you have are:

  • ISO (via the top dial)
  • Shutter Speed + Aperture priority / manual
  • EV compensation
  • Aperture (on lens)
  • Time / Date (via button press combination)

So far as I can remember, you can adjust ISO / WB and Shutter speed + File format / JPEG resolution / metering mode / WB via the FOTOS app, as you can with the M10.  N.B. some these settings seem to be "sticky" - which is good and bad, as once you've disconnected from the app you can't re-adjust WB etc directly on camera.

If you have the EVF you can see what settings have been applied (as you would with live view)

Hope you have fun!
