minus6 (tuan) Posted October 11, 2018 Share #1 Posted October 11, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Plan to get the CL as a backup for M10. Question is: How do we implement Back Button Focus function on the CL? Is it possible at all? Thanks for your help.
Advertisement Posted October 11, 2018 Posted October 11, 2018 Hi minus6 (tuan), Take a look here Back Button Focus with the CL. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
LocalHero1953 Posted October 11, 2018 Share #2 Posted October 11, 2018 No, it's not possible.
floyd Posted October 11, 2018 Share #3 Posted October 11, 2018 Don't think is possible, at least I've never found away so far.
ramarren Posted October 11, 2018 Share #4 Posted October 11, 2018 Not possible on the CL. (The SL has a specific control mode for the joystick button that enables it to be use for "AF on demand" with the camera set to Manual Focus, but that doesn't exist on the CL.) minus6 (tuan) Posted October 15, 2018 Author Share #5 Posted October 15, 2018 Thanks everyone for your responses. Too bad because, with the TL lenses, every time you push the shutter button, the camera will try to acquire focus again. Does the focus peaking work well with M lenses? I would appreciate any input regarding this function.
fotografr Posted October 15, 2018 Share #6 Posted October 15, 2018 I use several M lenses on my CL and the focus peaking works extremely well for me. Don't know what to add beyond that except that I find it very fast and easy to use.

Both focus magnification and peaking work well with adapted lenses also.
