I just got my Q and was outside trying to take photos of a litter of puppies. I had my Q set on medium continuous and was getting all kinds of lag between shots. It was driving me crazy until I read about the "Auto Review" mode. For God sake turn it off!!!! My Q came with it on. To turn it off go into the Main Menu, (assuming you have firmware 3 installed) page three and halfway down you will see "Auto Review" and select "OFF" and, voilà no more lag.
