Hi!

I bought 5 FILCA cassette for 700 forints/2 euro each(got really lucky).3 of them works super(a bit stiff sometimes but nothing worryful),however the other two are problematic. One of them is in the state showed in the picture. Its pin doesnt go back....Is it repairable?Or am I doing something wrong?
The other of my problem is,I put a cassette in my Leica IIIC(1946) ,the baseplate opens and closes the cassette like it should(however its pretty hard to do,seems like its really stiff),the real problem is that i cant get it out,it stuck in it....any advice how to get it out safely?Any strategies?

Thanks in advance for the help

Bent and broken locking springs were a common problem. Leitz made a repair kit with special anvils and had spare rivets and springs to do repairs. Check with the older repair techs and see if any have them.

There was quite a lot of dust between the concentric sleeves on the KOOBF cassettes for my Reporter 250. I gave them a good clean and a polish with Duraglit wadding. They work much better after that.
