What I miss, is the option "go to first unread post" from within a thread.

At least, I can't find this option or anything similar.

@andybarton - I thought I understood but, from the picture below, looks like I don't: just to try out your suggestions, I selected to see "everything", but I still  don't get a view count.

My mistake. I was sure this worked last week.

 

You can't see the number of views if you use the Activity Tracker at all.

 

You have to use the full version of the relevant sub-forum.
