;) Good move Xiaoheli.

Accessing now to "Monochrom World of Black&White" you gain some years of using while waiting for Mono III  :P .

Or you may learn by yourself what means "monochrome mindset".

Who knows, you may prefer Monochrom to your M10 or only add a new palette to your photography.

Thanks. Indeed I will have the peace of mind - don't have to debate what camera I should get because I run out of cash anyway. Lets pretend for a moment lack of choice is a feature not a bug. LOL

  • 2 months later...

I have using the M240 and a MM2 for years and I find the BW files from the MM2 very different. Robust files full of information and the PP very different too! In a perfect world I would have a MM and a Leica Q.

Here is a couple of examples, feel free to check my instagram @raphazurita

thanks

New M10 Monochrome will be released in 2019. My guess is before Q2 closes.

My guess/hunch is that Leica is trying to launch the SL2 and Q2 in a similar time frame as M10M (will be spread out over months). Sort of like the finale at a fireworks show, one banger after another.

Hopefully I am right.

Slightly off topic but I am looking forward to Leica Q2 and SL2 announcements just to see what the sensor specs will be. That should give us a clear picture of the M11 group of cameras
