Hello Mark,

i tried to connect to my M10 with you Software, but so far with no success. Software on my iMac is 10.14 on the M10 it's 2.6.5.0 The M10 is set to establish a WLAN . With the Leica App on the iPhone I'm able to connect to the Camera. When i connect the iMac to the Cameras WLAN (which consists of the Model followed by the SN) I'm able to select CONNECT from your software, but unfortunately it only says "Connect" and nothing happens. How long does it take to connect, am i possibly too inpatient ? Thank you in advance. Harald

Hello Mark,

i finally managed to connect my M10-P to my iMac and can now explain what was necessary.

I had to change my network settings from: First IP Address 192.168.1.1 to NOW WORKING 192.168.2.1

For some reason it was working with the MacBook Pro of my wife all the time, while on the iMac it wasn't.

(I think this was due to the fact that the iMac is connected to 2 Network connections. 1st is a cable connection which connects to a repeaters socket, and 2nd is the WLAN Connection. So if connected to the M10s WLAN it would still be connected to the other Network)

So glad i can now use it.....Once again thank you very much for your effort.

Harald

Sorry to sound a bit thick but is this app also something that will work on an iMac, or is it only for laptops?

I downloaded it to my iMac using 10.14.4. I switched on my M10-P and turned WLAN on. I received an image (modern barcode) and that was the end of that. Nothing happened.

Look forward to anyone to tell me I am incompetent or providing a solution. 🙂

You must choose your camera from the list of Wi-Fi networks in your Mac's menu bar and enter the password that appears on your camera's back screen.

If anyone is interested, I have written a small app for macOS that can download images from the M10 over WiFi. You can download the app from my blog here...

Thank you for this fine application.  Needed to reconfig my network to a different IP range to make it work. I wonder why that is for some and not others. Either way, it works great and thanks for it.

Thanks very much for this app Mark. Works fine with my M10 and late 2013 Mac Book Pro running El Capitan. Is there any plans to tether the M10  wirelessly to the Mac using this software and see a large live image on the Mac screen? Maybe even remotely fire the shutter?
