gogopix Posted July 14, 2007 Share #1 Posted July 14, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) It was VERY dark, esp those (Guy? David?) in the grotto at Linderhof (Ludvig II MADE this grotto: it is not a cave, it was built as a house then covered with dirt rock concrete in and out. you would swear it were a cave! Had real Wagner productions here. Tried the M8 1/2s and these seem, for novelty shots, quite usable. (would be more than the tabloids needed is Paris Hilton happened to perform! :-) What do you think? Actually, only standard C1 noise reduction (default) no Noise Ninja-Neatnik type actions on these, just a little curves to slow the highlts and bring up some shadows (and strill the noise is tame. gogopix Posted July 14, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted July 14, 2007 this was way up the hill in the mountainside. actually was 1250 not 2500. Tried the latter, and surprisingly was quite a bit worse. However, ISO 1250 is a respectable high sensitivity in anybody's book.
