Advertisement Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 Hi mdroe, Take a look here From Fujifilm to Leica. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
lct Posted November 14, 2018 Share #82 Posted November 14, 2018 Nice combo. I would check if the thread pitch of your filter (0.5mm generally) is different to that of your lens (0.75mm). If so, better refrain from tightening the filter to avoid damages to the lens. BTW the thread of 40/2 and 90/4 Leica "C" lenses was not made for filters (Series 5.5 then) but for rubber hoods. FWIW. mdroe Posted November 15, 2018 Author Share #83 Posted November 15, 2018 Thank you for the feedback and yes the thread pitch is somewhat different - I “just” twist the filter on to protect the lens front! There appear to be a few filters with the correct pitch on eBay but they are quite pricey, and I plan on switching to a 35mm Summicron (or maybe Summilux) fairly soon.
