euston Posted September 15, 2018 Share #1 Posted September 15, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Our much loved collie cross, Strider, died last week at the age of fifteen or sixteen. We can’t be precise as he had been a stray before the Dogs Trust saved his life. We adopted him when he was two or three. Here is one of my favourite pictures of him taken with the V Lux 1. david strachan Posted September 16, 2018 Share #7 Posted September 16, 2018 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Looks like quite a bit of Kelpie in him. Great sheep dog, loves to run. The first pic shows their intelligence and always alert. Sorry for your loss. It's sad to loose your pooch. ... abrewer Posted September 17, 2018 Share #10 Posted September 17, 2018 I'm also very sorry to hear of the loss of your best friend. You can tell by the posts here that most of us have had the same experience of companionship with a dog, and share what you're feeling now. I've had a couple of rescue dogs. Unfortunately, the exposure and emotional loss they suffer is almost universally compromising of their lifespan. I'm certain he loved his life and his people, and knew how lucky he was to find a forever home with you.

albert Posted September 20, 2018 Share #14 Posted September 20, 2018 This is the only bad part of having a best friend. I am truly sorry and will give my dog an extra hug tonight.
