Ummm, the Sony 24-105 f4 G, also has a 77mm filter size..... Gordon

So a constant 2.8 might be capable of 1.4 on the wide end.
mdemeyer Posted January 29, 2019 Share #626 Posted January 29, 2019 (edited) You can see this on many constant aperture lenses. The aperture blades stop down as you zoom out. This mattered more in the days when all metering was not through the lens and we liked to have accurate aperture marks on the lens. Now that we don’t have calibrated aperture markings on the lens, might as well have the extra speed at the wide end... Jeff S Posted January 31, 2019 Share #631 Posted January 31, 2019 EVF resolution (5.76m dot) is state-of-the-art. Maybe I’ll finally like an EVF.... but probably not. Jeff
bags27 Posted January 31, 2019 Share #632 Posted January 31, 2019 (edited) Heavier than the SL, a bit higher, a lot thicker, but a 25% more dot EVF. And, oh BTW, double the MPS and ~$2k less. I use my grip to balance the camera and I know many here use the RRS base, so the higher/thicker looks promising.
bags27 Posted January 31, 2019 Share #634 Posted January 31, 2019 T lenses work on the SL with, what? around 16 mps, of picture. Is that right? Then with a 47 mps sensor they could give something like 24 mps images I suppose. Making T lenses more valuable.

maqroll Posted January 31, 2019 Share #638 Posted January 31, 2019 According to Leica Technical Sheet APS-C of SL (typ 601) is Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! For a 47.3 sensor it would be 47.3/(1.5x1.5) i.e. slightly more than 21 megapixel.
 Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members!
