Leitz Elmar 3.5cm on a digital M body?

It's a fine, compact pancake-like lens but has it's limitations due to it's age. Have a look at this https://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/285120-günstigste-und-einfachste-art-schraubobjektive-zu-testen/page-3#entry3535109

Bottomline: Center is good, edges not, look at the glass (haze etc.), (mine is coated and not for sale  :) , like it a lot)

If you are not much concerned about sharpness and use it under contrasty light it may give acceptable results.

The two versions of the 35mm Summaron which succeeded the Elmar were certainly "better" and not much bigger.-
