Louis Posted September 7, 2018 Share #4 Posted September 7, 2018 Charles, I like this shot and the colors, but I think it needed a little more PP. Since you are asking Stuny to make changes he thinks would improve this shot, I hope you don't mind me to post my take. Kind regards, Louis Welcome, dear visitor! CharlesL Posted September 7, 2018 Author Share #5 Posted September 7, 2018 I hope you don't mind me to post my take.... Not at all. I see how you would crop it, but as for color, your image is tagged Adobe RGB. My calibrated monitor can be set to Adobe RGB or sRGB. Either way, of course, we cannot see each other's monitors. No matter how I viewed your re-work on my monitor, the skin color had become garish. (Conversely, I recognize that the one I posted may have a wan look in the skin.) CharlesL Posted September 8, 2018 Author Share #7 Posted September 8, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Cropping isn't the comment The comment is "get closer" Odd, I have this topic on follow, which emails each post to me. This one came as: Cropping isn't the answer The answer is "get closer" Capture that lovely smile, the joy of getting off of work on a Friday afternoon, the anticipation of free time and friends tonight That's what that lens is made for, not shots 30 feet away like this
abrewer Posted September 8, 2018 Share #8 Posted September 8, 2018 The email version doesn't reflect the edits I made for sake of brevity and clarity. My point is to get closer. Your pictures will suddenly get better. Try it and see.
