abrewer Posted September 7, 2018 Share #3 Posted September 7, 2018 Something about this image disturbs me. Not any technical aspect, as it is expertly exposed and the composition is spot-on. It is instead the angle, shooting into the slumped back, and the anonymity of the subject--issues of humanity, not light.

erl Posted September 18, 2018 Share #5 Posted September 18, 2018 You have captured an emotion of humanity and empathy along with a sense of separation from society. Superb use of the Noctilux, along with the careful framing to one side, thus further separation of the subject.

fotografr Posted September 25, 2018 Share #7 Posted September 25, 2018 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) This image is a metaphor for a hard, lonely life. She's isolated in darkness, carrying a heavy load, while off in the brighter distance people go about their lives without even knowing she's there. I appreciate that her face isn't shown because she deserves her anonymity. This is a strong image.
