Guy,

you mixed up Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

My selection is:

62, 274, 290, 387, and 411

I don't think it was that specific to be Germany only.

I have just spent a very pleasant half hour going through your Zen portfolio...I now see your problem as I would'nt like to pick out the "winners" either as they are all winners in my book!

If I was pressed, then the image of the little dog in the cycle basket, the boy looking in the fountain pool and any one from the cycle race sequence stick in my mind.

I wish the lens identity and F number were in the exif data as well!

A terrific advert for the M8 but more than that a thunderous applause for a very talented photographer. Well done Guy, I think I will now go back for another look!

By the way, I wonder how often you longed for a zoom lens?

Thank You David that was very nice of you to say and it is appreciated as well as others nice comments. i don't miss a zoom much though every once in awhile. i really do love the M8 to shoot, it just fits nicely between my hands and my brain

Hi Guy

I took me less than 10 minutes on the Zenfolio to pick the ones that impact my vision.....there was 419 pictures at the time....... I see things have changed a few time if I read the posts

Here goes my # 5-28-119-190-206

Best of luck in entering....... I might get a chance to see them this Fall in NYC

Take care

Wow Guy, I real;y enjoyed looking through your photos. I can't pick favorites just yet - I want to let it sink in and look at them again. Your photos brought back fond memories and many times a very different version of what I shot (saw) although I was standing beside you in many cases. I will learn from this and your helpful nature was a bonus for the trip.

I feel it is important to re-iterate something you touched on earlier for the folks following this thread. The Leica Germany trip was a fantastic vacation with a few other photography enthusiasts. It was not an art class or a structured photo class. It was very informal and relaxed. There was plenty of technical help and advice if/when requested, but the purpose of the trip was not geared toward producing sellable stock or learning a structured curriculum. It was geared toward having fun with photography and exceeded my expectations in that respect. I can't wait for the next Leica Akadamie trip.
