I'm wondering I there is a weight difference (I assume yes) , and whether it's significant ? I briefly had a black version however it has had to go back under PayPal 'not as described' unfortunately. Since then I've purchased a titan M6 TTL so am open to both colour lenses - but not if the titan is much heavier. Although I think the black is only 195g so I'm not sure even a heavier titan would actually be 'heavy'. I can't find any weight info online for the titan Cheers! G Titanium is brass underneath the titanium powder coat. A beautiful lens, and finally, a chance to own the pre-asph in brass. I have read, and experienced first hand, that the titanium are better optically. Maybe because of tolerances, or newer coatings.
