My forebears were from Wick.

 

One of them, faced with being forced to fight at Waterloo, swam out into the harbour and boarded a ship. He traveled the world as a merchant seaman befor he settled in NZ. We refer to him as “the pirate” - he eventually married a very high born Māori wahine - the land she brought to the marriage is still in that branch of the family.

 

Doesn’t look like much is happening in Wick or Caithness these days!

Thanks for posting these.  They whet my appetite for a WA.  On second, thought, dang you for posting them!  

 

 

They do also use a 35 Summarit and a 0.95 Nocti so I tried to cover all ends of the cost spectrum :)
