LikesLife Posted August 16, 2018 Share #1 Posted August 16, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi. Apple will close its photo book support. Quality was really great. Do you have some great recommendations? My experience with several German suppliers like pixum or Fotobuch.de was not so great with regard to paper/book quality and print quality. Thx, best greetings
Advertisement Posted August 16, 2018 Posted August 16, 2018 Hi LikesLife, Take a look here Which photobook supplier?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Exodies Posted August 16, 2018 Share #2 Posted August 16, 2018 I only have experience with Fotobuch and Blurb. Blurb print quality is better but I’m not sure if I selected the best quality paper in Fotobuch. Are you sure your intended audience needs to see any more images? djmay Posted August 16, 2018 Share #3 Posted August 16, 2018 I use WhiteWall for photo books made with photo paper. However, you can only receive them in Germany. If you are not located there, it is not an option. Jesse
LikesLife Posted August 16, 2018 Author Share #4 Posted August 16, 2018 Thx a lot. Yes, my family enjoys to turn the pages of the photo book. Moreover, I enjoy to look some selected pictures of the past. However, as reported before .... I am surprised to see the bad quality of Pixum books of the last year. And they appear to be always the first runners in national photo book tests in Germany. While blurb belongs to the last. I believe that In those tests the functionality of the software, multiple graphical options and low prices do have a high weight. Nevertheless, I am a little bit surprised to learn that no international supplier is suggested in this forum, such as Shutterfly, mixbook or snapfish .... waiting for more opinions. Simone_DF Posted August 28, 2018 Share #5 Posted August 28, 2018 You could give Snapfish a try. I think they are running a promotion right now. I've never printed a photobook with them, only a bunch of photos that I gave to friends and family. The quality is decent for the price you pay, but of course don't expect museum quality.
