The override lever moves freely when the override lock is in both lock and unlock position, I cannot change the override value. Do you by any chance have a reference for the teardown of the top half I would like to inflict the minimum possible damage by winging the repair. Â Well, first: I would only recommend to start this repair, if you have experience with fine mechanic and, of course, you need proper tools. Â It`s not that difficult to remove the top cover. Remove the visible screws, take of the "Leica" cover, the wind and rewind lever. The steps are more or less self explaining... And then: the easiest repair is, just to replace the broken part. Might be a chance to find a part online, even on ebay... A "real repair" is possible, but a bit more tricky...and you need a Dremel... Â Anyway, Â good luck, Â regards, Â Torsten.
