M2 - Multiple exposures?

Hi all!

 

Is there any way of doing multiple exposures on a M2? I don´t know how many turns it will require to exposure again in exact frame.

 

Any experiences??

A trick I have used in the past that will probably work; take your first exposure, then wind the rewind knob to take up the slack in the film, push the rewind lever over then while holding the rewind knob advance the winder. This will reset the shutter while holding the film in place. After taking the second shot it is best to advance one frame, take a photo with the lens cap on then advance again before shooting your next frame.

By the way, this method will work on any camera that has a rewind release button/knob.

Just remember to hold both the rewind knob and the rewind lever when cocking the shutter for added exposures so the lever doesn’t snap back too soon and engage the sprockets.
