Capture one - magenta (reddish) cust of M10 files

Hello

I have been playing with trial version of Capture one Pro 11.2. for several days now.

I believe that there are some members of the forum who have experience with Leica M10 files in Capture one pro 11?

I do not know how to remove the magenta (reddish) cast of the photo.
I have been trying for days but it is not going.

Al photos are pretty magenta – reddish. Almost every image has a pretty strong magenta (reddish) cast in C1 which I can not eliminate.

I can not eliminate it with white balance.

If I lower the magenta or red in the color editor it becomes all too yellow.

In Lightroom there is not this magenta – reddish cast.

Maybe someone has some advice (how to edit a color photo from the M10).

Any advice will be welcome

Thank you.

Best regards.

PS

I have Eizo monitor calibrated at 5800K, 100cd.

Profile in C1 is Leica M10 Generic

Hello

I apologize for perhaps a little bit strange question and my inexperience.

With some practice and experience in C1 I will get used to it. J

But more or less, all of the images in C1 have magenta (reddish) cast more than in Lightroom.

In Lightroom they are not so magenta-reddish.

In C1 requires several corrections for each image (white balance, color…) and it takes more time (for corection this magenta-reddish cast for each image). It's not huge, but it's noticed.

That's why I asked about the experience with M10 files and C1 if there is some kind of easy process.

I apologize for my inexperience.

Thanks for your opinions and help.

Tomaz

i see barely any magenta...M10 generic profile...a touch of white balance adjustment can reduce the magenta in the whites

People say Capture One "twists" the hues, and based on playing with a trial of it, I agree. If you really want to use Capture One, you could 1) figure out where to specify a different camera profile (.dcp file), and 2) find the .dcp that Lightroom uses and put it in place of Capture One's default profile for the M10.

Here is a screenshot (from an sRGB screen) of a quick pass through Raw Therapee (not Therapy).

Like any postprocessing software, C1 must be calibrated to your specific camera. I always do so for every new camera, preferably for different light situations.

Use an X-rite Color Checker Passport. It is a very easy - but essential if you care about colour- step.
